Willie A. McElrath Sr.

Mr. Willie Augusta McElrath Sr. was born June 3, 1951 to the late Mr. & Mrs Willie & Irene McElrath in Sylacauga, Alabama. Willie departed this life on Saturday June 1, 2019 and was proceeded in death by his parents Mr.& Mrs. Willie and Irene McElrath , his Sister Roberta McElrath, 4 Brothers : John Louis Thomas, Cylde, Claude and Billy McElrath. Willie received his formal education in the Sylacauga School System. Willie accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Union Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Alabama. 

Willie moved to Detroit, Michigan in the late 1970’s where he was employed with Dynamic Metal Finishing Inc. as a chrome finishing specialist for 30+ years. In his leisure time Willie enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, working on cars and spending time with his family. 

Willie leaves to cherish his memory his Daughter Melissa Yvette Oneal of Sylacauga, Alabama, Son Willie Augusta McElrath  Jr. of Detroit, Michigan , 3 bonus children Tywaun & Shawn Prater of Detroit, Michigan, Nataya Prater of McDonough Ga. 2 Brothers JW McElrath of Sylacauga, Alabama , Dexter McElrath of Detroit, Michigan, 15 Grand Children and a life Partner Kathy Jordon, and host of other relatives and friends.
