Tiara Monique Bailey

Tiara was born on June 2, 1999, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham Alabama. She was a twin to her brother Tyjohn. These blessed children were born from the union of Tracy and Valerie Bailey. From Tiara’s birth, born at six months premature, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, legal blindness, and seizure disorder. For many years, Tiara resided at Montgomery Children's Specialty Center (formerly known as Father Walter’s Memorial Child Care Center in Montgomery, AL) where she transitioned this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Tiara greatly enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. Also, she liked listening to her favorite music and nursery rhymes.  Most of all, she appreciated the loving fellowship with her caregivers and fellow roommates and friends. Although Tiara could not see, she had great spiritual sight. Despite the fact that she never walked, and her mobility was a wheelchair, she would always let you know one of her favorite places to be her ANOINTED BED. Even though she couldn’t talk like we do, she always commanded her presence as TIara “A Royal Queen”. Every family visit, we would give her a report of what's going on in our lives. At the hearing of your voice, she knew exactly who you were. Our nickname for her was “TT” Her smile, laughter, and joyous spirit lit up the whole room.  We called her “Our Sunshine” and “Our Sunshine” will always rise and set with every precious memory of her. 

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Reacie May Bailey; two brothers Miraculous and Tyjohn Bailey; Aunt Marie Bailey and Uncle Oliver Bailey.

Tiara leaves to cherish her kingdom memories: her parents Tracy O. Bailey and Valerie Bailey of Montgomery, AL; grandmother Johnnie Mae Henderson of Roanoke, AL; grandfather Willie Frank Bailey of Wedowee, AL; two brothers Christopher Henderson and Adrain Harris of Montgomery, AL; 4 sisters Anstasisa Harris; Alexis, Victoria, and Destiny Bailey of Montgomery, AL; 5 nephews; 2 nieces; a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Special nurse Opal Smith - LPN Special family friend Susan Young - AIDB and all staff of MCSC.
