Reverend David Walter Wilkinson was born on October 12,1970 in Clay County, AL, to the parentage of the Late Harvey and Faye Mitchell Wilkinson.
He attended school in the Clay County School system and was a member of the Clay County Panther football team. He graduated from Clay County High School in 1988. After he graduated high school, he spent many years in the Poultry Farming business.
Reverend Wilkinson served as the Pastor of the Grace Worship Center in Ashland, AL until his health declined.
His love for Motorcycles was evident, as his family remembers him for all of his bike rides, and his faithfulness to the Hades Hounds of Alabama Guardians Motorcycle Club. David was a proud Alabama Football Fan, and a great family man, his proudest moments in life were watching his children, and grandchildren become good and successful family members.
David was a member of the Coppermine Volunteer Fire Department where he also served as Chaplain.
On Monday afternoon January 1, 2024, David quietly transitioned from this life at his residence in Lineville, AL with his family at his side.
Reverend Wilkinson is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Faye Mitchell Wilkinson.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife; Angel Wilkinson of Lineville, AL. His Children; Lisa (Nick) Hill of Gadsden, AL; Amanda Wilkinson of Lineville, AL; Austin (MaKayla) Wilkinson of Mellow Valley, AL; and Dawson (Mackenzie) Wilkinson of Lineville, AL. His Brother; Terry Wilkinson of Cragford, AL. Four Grandchildren; Two Nieces; Two Nephews; One Great niece, and Two Great nephews; and finally, a host of other family members and friends.
