Ms. Betty Holloway Obituary

Betty Ann Reed Holloway was born on January 30, 1937 in Chambers County, Alabama to the parentage of the late Bill and Mary Reed.


She attended school in Chambers County during her early years. Betty attended church at the Calvary Family Worship Center in Valley, AL.


Her love for Produce led her to have a wonderful working career as she spent time at Brown’s Produce Market, and Mason’s Farmers Market, both which were located in Lanett, AL. 


On Friday May 17th, 2024 Our dear mother Betty entered into eternal rest at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband; Waymon Holloway; Children: Kathy Van Meter, Mary Elizabeth (Libby) Holloway, Edger Holloway. Siblings: Jody Reed, Brenda Griffin, Dorothy Walton. Grand daughter: Kelly Waites. Brothers in Law; Ronnie Langford, Dave Cummins, Joe Griffin, Norman Holloway. Mother and Father In Law; Beatrice and Mark Holloway.


Her smiling face and loving ways will be missed by her daughter; Patsy (Ben) Brown of Valley, AL. Son; Eddie (Debbie) Holloway of Lanett, AL. Siblings; Donna Cummins, Joan Langford, Sylvia Reed, Janice Clifton, Karen (Wayne) Gooden, and Richard (Pat) Reed. Grandchildren: Amanda Brown, Benjamin D. Brown, Henery Holloway, John Holloway, Chris (Brandi) Holloway, Shelly Waites. Great Grandchildren: Kylie Waites, Austin Brown, Andrew (Shay) Pugh, Jet Holloway, Jacob Holloway, Lucas Holloway, Rylie Holloway, Victoria Holloway, and her great- great  grandchild: Mason Pugh. Finally a host of other family members and friends.
