Linda Faye Knight was born November 10, 1956 to Rosie Lee and Million Jive Knight in Kellyton, AL. Linda grew up in the Kellyton community and confessed hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of Kellyton Chapel United Methodist Church. She graduated from Goodwater High School in 1975. After graduation, she attended REX Electric School in Birmingham, AL. She later met her husband, Richard Hudson, to which the they shared a union for 29 years. They resided in Hueytown, AL where they raised their children. She would often attend New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. She worked in security for over 25 years which gave her the opportunity to meet people and develop new relationships. Linda never met a stranger or person she couldn't engage in conversation. On Saturday, May 2, 2020, Linda was called home to be in the place that our Lord and Savior had prepared just for her. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her devoted husband Richard Hudson; Four loving children: Son Tieron (Natasha) Knight, Three daughters Tamala (Michael) Barnes, Crystal (Terrence) Beaman, and Melody Hudson. Four loving sisters: Mary (Robert) Hayes, Barbara Knight, Catherine (Jeffery) Mathews, and Pastor Rosie (Bishop John) Walker. Nine grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
