Mrs. Geraldine Teague

 Mrs. Geraldine (Jennings) Teague, our beautiful sunshine, life journey began September 5th, 1943, in Sylacauga, Alabama to the union of Mr. Azor Jennings and Mrs. Lucsebrem Pratt Jennings, who preceded her in death. Geraldine was the seventh of eight children. Geraldine (Geri) moved to Bristol, CT in her adult years where she would work for Wallace Barnes until retirement. Also there, she was a dedicated member of Beulah A.M.E Zion Church. However, shortly after retirement, she relocated to Douglasville, GA where she attended Tranquil A.M.E. Church.

She was a woman who stood on a strong faith. Geraldine (Geri) was preceded in death by her late husband William Teague, Jr. and her 7 siblings: Earl Jennings, James Jennings, Murray Jennings, Juanita (Jennings) Tucker, Ruth (Jennings) McGee, Barbara Jennings, and Calvin Jennings. Geraldine was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a great listener who always told you the truth. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. Each one of them are her “favorite”. She loved to shop for herself but more for her family. It gave her pleasure to give something special to someone she loved.

At age 79 young, Geraldine passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Lolita Teague of Bristol, CT ; two sons : Terry Teague (Bristol, CT) and William G. Teague II (Yolanda) (Douglasville, GA); 8 grandchild ren: Eric Pierce Jr., William G. Teague III, Shamekia Teague, Christian Pierce, Gerhonda Teague, Gerhon Teague, Terry Teague Jr. and Tyrell Teague; 7 great grandchildren: Isaiah Roberson, Gabriella Teague, Taliyah Teague, Sa ’ Riyah Teague, Tyshawn Teague, Kai’lani Teague and Tristen Teague and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends including a special friend Vernon.
