Willie Wayne Brown was born on April 1, 1953, in Centerville Alabama. He was adopted into the loving home of the late Mr. Willie Floyd Brown and Mrs. Carrie Lou O’Neal Brown of Sylacauga, AL.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined St. Thomas United Methodist Church, in Sylacauga, AL. There he sang with the male chorus. Later, he joined Rising Star Baptist Church, in Sylacauga, AL where he was active as an usher, van driver, and church janitor. He departed this life on February 21, 2024, at Coosa Valley Nursing Home, in Sylacauga, AL.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving daughter, Min. Kristy B. McGregor, of Sylacauga, AL, and a loving son, Gary D. Brown, of Talladega, AL. Seven grandchildren, Stephanie C. McGregor, and Johnathon S. McGregor both of Sylacauga, AL. Shatanna N. Holley and Tazz Marbury, both of Sylacauga, AL. Talijah Moore, Mekiah Streeter, and Raimyah Moore of Talladega, AL, and three great-granddaughters, Emma-Claire J. McGregor, and Jaiden and Zoe Burton of Sylacauga, AL, and a host of extended family and friends.
