Minister Jamison D. McGregor

Minister Jamison Demetrius McGregor was born on December 8, 1971 to the union of Elder
Earnest James McGregor and the late Evangelist Gloria Jean McGregor in Sylacauga, AL. He
was united in holy matrimony to Minister Kristy B. McGregor on February 27, 1996.
He was a Vincent High School graduate in the class of 1990, and later attended college at
Warner Southern College in Florida. At age 3, God blessed him with musical gifts. He was a
dedicated musician, member, and Associate Minister of Evangel Temple Deliverance Center in
Vincent, AL. He accepted Christ at an early age and was licensed to preach the gospel on
November 18, 2007. He was blessed to have worked with a host of church choirs and very
talented musicians or as he called them “minstrels” in his lifetime.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of twenty-four years, Minister Kristy
McGregor; daughter, Stephanie C. McGregor and son, Johnathon S. McGregor, granddaughter,
Emma-Claire J. McGregor of Sylacauga, AL; Father, Elder Earnest McGregor of Detroit, MI;
Sister, Minister LaTrenda Keith of Sylacauga, AL; Two brothers, James B.(Sylvia) McGregor
and Dion McGregor of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Mother- In- Law, Faye Powell of Talladega, AL;
Father- In- Law, Willie W. Brown of Sylacauga, AL; Three Brother- In- Laws, Gary (Telisha)
Brown and Joseph (La Teaicea) Powell of Lincoln, AL, and Jason (Tonya) Powell of Oxford,
AL; Two Special Brothers, Lodis W. (Felecia) McGregor of Sylacauga, AL and Timothy
(Darice) McGregor of Childersburg, AL, and a host of precious aunts and uncles, nieces and
nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
