Mary Ruth Woods

Mrs. Mary Ruth Jackson Woods was born June 26, 1935 to the late Charlie Jackson Sr. and the late Pauline Taylor Jackson. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Enon Baptist. Later, after moving to Bronx New York, she joined Union Grove Baptist Church where she remained until returning back to Alabama. After returning home, she rededicated herself to the Enon family where she served as a faithful member until she departed this life.

She leaves to cherish her memories six sisters: Sarah (Lorenzo) Winston, Eunice Jackson, Glenda (Marco) Youngblood, all of Sylacauga, AL; Katie Jackson, Montgomery, AL, Thelma Turner, San Antonio, TX, and Shirley Jackson of Vestavia, AL, Two brothers: James (Hazel) Jackson, Robert (Angelette) Jackson all of Sylacauga, AL.  One Stepson: Rev. Kenneth Keith, Three special God-daughters: Deborah Smith, Spring Valley, NY, Ayanna Rogers, Bronx, NY, Surayya Rogers, New Rochelle, NY.  Two special nephews: Burl Rogers, Florida, NY, Curtis Rogers, Bronx NY, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, two aunts and a host of other relatives and friends
