Marques DeWayne Hardnett from Talladega County Alabama was taken away from us suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the age of 21.
Marques was born in Roanoke Alabama to Marcie Franks and DeWayne Hardnett on January 1, 1999. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 2017. He later worked at HMA and NSE in Lincoln Alabama.
Marques was preceded in death by his grandmothers Paulanette Foxworth and Nina Mae Hardnett; uncle Edward “Sparky” Woodruff; great grandparents Clera “Nanny” Booker, Annette “Toby” Woodruff, Paul Parker, Calvin Richardson, Louise “Madea” Cox, Josh Hardnett, and Emma Hardnett.
Marques is survived by his parents Marcie Franks (Shawn) of Anniston AL and DeWayne Hardnett (Connice)of Roanoke AL; daughter Nevaeh Hardnett (Patrisha)of Munford AL; brothers Montez “Teddy” Hall of Anniston AL, Travius “Trae” Dunson of Roanoke AL, and Joaquin Grady of Roanoke AL; grandparents Edward Richardson (Wendolyn) of Talladega AL, Erma Jean McCowan (Roscoe) of Roanoke AL, and Vernon Hardnett of Chambers County AL; aunts Nakeia Woodruff of Talladega AL, LaCaisa Lawson (Randy) of Talladega AL, Janice Hardnett of Lafayette AL, Priscilla Hardnett of Lafayette AL; uncles Benjamin Phillips (Kimberly) of Roanoke AL, Lamar McCowan of Roanoke AL, and Vernon Hardnett Jr. of Lafayette AL; and a host of family and friends.
