LeAnthony McElderry

LeAnthony McElderry was born to the late Mr. Willie Bragg McElderry & Mrs. Helen (Turner) McElderry on January 29, 1956. LeAnthony was zealous for the Word of God & loved to sing hymns and spiritual songs with his beautiful baritone voice. 

While receiving an education in the Munford City School System, his father taught him the masonry trade/carpentry trade at a young age. He traveled to various cities and states across the country as a contractor and a minister, until settling in Gadsden, Al. 

At a young age he attended Miracle Revival Temple in Anniston, Al with his family. As he grew, his Faith also grew and he began his evangelizing missions. Throughout his life he penned many spiritual and inspirational poems and essays. Many depicting his great love for God and his family. 

Loved ones who preceded him in death include his parents and his sisters, Jewel (McElderry) Boyles and Lenette McElderry. 

He leaves special memories to be cherished by his children; Uriah McElderry (Anniston, Al), Melonie McElderry (Huntsville, Al), Melissa (BJ) Webb (Talladega, Al), Maria McElderry (Talladega, Al); siblings, Willie James McElderry (Marietta, Ga), Carolyn (McElderry) Knox (Piedmont, Al), Kenneth Lamar McElderry (Piedmont, Al), Lester McElderry (Germany), Alvin McElderry (Munford, Al), Sherry (Ron) McElderry Copeland (Knoxville, Tn), Brunette McElderry (Sylacauga, Al), Nadine Scott (Talladega, Al), LaTonya (Charlie) Scott Lawson (Mobile, Al); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
