Judy Faye (Smith) Pope

Judy Faye Smith Pope age 72 of Sylacauga, Alabama was born December 9,1948 in East Tallassee, Alabama to the Late Willie and Vera Smith. She attended Wall Street Elementary School and later East Highland High School. She was a devoted wife to the late Mr. Lewis 

At an early age, she confessed her life to Christ and joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and she later moved her membership to Pine Hill Seventh Day Adventist. Judy loved God, her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, Soap Opera’s and Gospel Music. One of her all time favorites was Cooling Waters by Lee Williams. 

On Monday May 10,2021 at 4:24 P.M. Judy F. Pope transitioned from this life to be in the presence of the lord. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. (Grandmother) Gracie Foster Moss and (3) brothers John Smith of Dayton, Oh, Tony Smith and Eddie Smith of Sylacauga, Al sister, Deloise Ann Smith and a brother- in- law Zack Moon both of Sylacauga, AL. 

She leaves to cherish her precious memories a Loving, Kind Son, Donnie Smith of Akron, OH, Grandson Demarco Smith of Liz, Austria. Four Great- grandchildren; Melinda Smith, Andrew Smith, Dewayne Smith, and Ace Smith all of Liz, Austria. Four Sisters; Jean (Carson) Taylor and Neva Moon all of Sylacauga, AL. Kristy Hooks and Marilyn (Calvin) Shaw all of East Tallassee, AL. Two Brothers; Barry (Katrina) Smith and Willie (Pamela) Smith all of East Tallassee, AL. Two sisters- in- law; Teresa Smith of Sylacauga, AL and Annette Smith of Dayton, OH. A very Special Aunt, Mrs. Eva Mae (Sonny) Patterson of Demoplis, AL. A special uncle John Dee Foster of Sylacauga, AL, Special Nieces: Tonja Jackson, Terra Averiett (Who she called her Angel, the daughter she never had.) Tamara Taylor and Kasina Moon all of Sylacauga, AL. A very Loveable and faithful friend, Mrs. Willie Mae (Joe) Jennings; and Finally a host of Special Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
