Jason Amison Obituary

On October 12,1982 a son was born to Natalie Amison and Willie Deramus,Jr. whom they named Jason Mardrigus Amison. Jason gave his life to Christ at an early age,where he became a member of First Baptist Ninth Street. He was a member of many ministries at First Baptist Ninth  St, his favorite was being a youth advisor for the youth department (Word Steppers). He was a product of Bessemer City Schools. While playing the Trombone in the band during high school he met and later married his high school sweetheart Hoppe J. Amison. Jason was a Masons member of Geometry Lodge #410-Prince Hall.

He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife of 17 years Hoppe J. Amison, mother Natalie (Kenneth) Woods, father Willie Deramus,Jr., grandmother Dorothy Greene, a special God child  Brook’Lynn Amison, two sisters Stephanie (KeUndre) Clark ,Ashley (Earl) Avery, one brother Antonio (Jenesha) Rogers, two sister-laws Robyn (Toris) Henderson, Roderica King, and one brother in law Rynele (Carolyn) Mardis, & a host of aunts, uncles,cousins, nieces, nephews,many friends and loved ones.
