Mr. Fred Shaloam Bell was born October 25, 1979 in Jefferson County Alabama at UAB Hospital in Birmingham Alabama to the parentage of Fred A. Bell, and Debra Bell.
At an early age he confessed Jesus Christ, and was baptized at Covenant Community Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Fred was an honor student, and gifted musician playing the trumpet.
Fred was a graduate of Columbia High School, in Decatur, GA where he played football and was a part of the wrestling team where he went to the state tournament his first year on the team. After high school he attended Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, GA
Fred returned to Birmingham to hone his gift as a master carpenter. Fred was an exceptional craftsman who worked tirelessly to bring beauty to the interior and exterior of every household or commercial business that he touched. He worked in the construction industry for A.G. Gaston Construction Company of Birmingham, AL as a foreman.
On Saturday December 19, 2020 Fred Shaloam Bell departed this life at Saint Vincent Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Jerome Cortez Gay, and David Solomon Bell. He leaves behind to cherish his fond memories, his wife Lachandra Ware Bell, his son Fred Shaloam Bell Jr., Three daughters Arreion, Kinyara, and Aleah Lashun of Birmingham, AL. His father Fred (Malinda) Bell of Riverdale, GA. His mother Debra Cheaton, of South Bend, IN. A brother John Christian Bell, two sisters Shanequa Shunte Gay, and Deborah Elizabeth Bell, a nephew Yasir Malik Shakur, all of Atlanta, GA, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
