Engrid Ogletree also known as “Dee Dee” was Born November 12,1968 to the late Napate Morgan Ware and Henry Hughley and was reared with love by her Stepfather Johnny Ware. Engrid hailed from Roanoke Alabama , but resided in Lagrange Georgia. She was filled with so much grace and positivity & was loved by MANY of her friends and family you will always see her smiling and laughing Engrid "Dee Dee" Ogletree, a remarkable soul who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Monday August 21, 2023 Engrid entered eternal rest at Piedmont Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Engrid was a member of New Life Worship Center in Roanoke under the leadership of Pastor Maurice Wright. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son; Devarian Ogletree and siblings Casey Morgan and Robin Thompson. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, intelligence, and unwavering care that will forever remain etched in our hearts. Dee Dee was a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends. Her warm smile and genuine kindness were the first things that greeted you, making you feel instantly at ease in her presence. Her ability to brighten up any room she entered was a true testament to her inner radiance.
Dee Dee had an innate knack for making people feel valued and loved, often going out of her way to ensure everyone around her felt special. Her sense of humor was nothing short of infectious. Dee Dee had a way of turning everyday moments into laughter-filled memories. Her quick wit and clever quips kept those around her in stitches, and her laughter was a melody that will forever resonate in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared a laugh with her. Dee Dee had the unique gift of finding humor in the mundane, reminding us all not to take life too seriously. However, perhaps one of Dee Dee's most defining traits was her boundless compassion and caring nature. She had an unparalleled ability to connect with others on a deeply empathetic level. Her genuine concern for the well-being of her family and friends was a guiding light in their lives. Dee Dee's selflessness knew no bounds, and her acts of kindness often went unnoticed, as she never sought recognition for her deeds. Her love was a steadfast pillar of support, and her presence provided comfort during both the joyous and challenging times.

Engrid is survived by her grandson: Jayceon Deverious Williams, her siblings; Tyia Thompson, Henrico Thompson, Salena Thompson Owensby, Robbie Thompson Greathouse, Felicia Cook, Faye Burdette. Sister in Laws; Tracey Goss, Margie Ogletree, and Debbie Nolan. Finally a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
