Mr.Donald Lee Spivey “Serg” was born in Tallapoosa County Alabama on December 20,1956 to the late Mr. Willie J Spivey, Sr. and Mrs. Martha Louise Allen Spivey. Mr. Spivey served in the Armed Forces for many years and was a Sergeant until the end of his tenure. At an early age, he joined Early Rose Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member until his passing.
Mr. Spivey departed this life on Friday November 25,2022 at UAB in Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. Willie J Spivey, Sr. and Mrs. Martha Louise Allen Spivey, sister, Misha Boston and brother Ray Allen.
He leaves to cherish his memories four children, Tameka Spivey, Stephanie Spivey Hardy (Derrious), Eric Spivey (Magen) and Donshay Graham; twelve grandchildren; seven sisters, Martha Allen, Charlotte Allen, Patricia Buchanan (Benjamin),Catrina Rowe (Sam), Regina Spivey all of Alexander City, AL and Priscilla Ward (Nathaniel) of Fayetteville, and Belinda Cook of Daleville, Al. six brothers; Ronald Spivey, Willie Spivey Jr., Kenneth Spivey, Darryl Spivey (Diane), Derick Spivey all of Alexander City, Al and Calvin Spivey (Vicky) of Madison, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
