Cynthia Delores Jackson was born on January 15, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Willie Lee Cloud and Pecola Lee Jackson. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ozell Bates where she served as a member of the Usher Ministry and Love Ministry until her death. She helped raise many of her nieces and nephews and was a caregiver for her mother and brother prior to their passing.
