A Time to Be Born
Brandon Keir Lane was born to the parentage of Angela Lane and Steve Brooks on September 28, 1984, at 4:52 p.m. at Columbus Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. He was the second born twin to this union.
A Time to Plant
Brandon was a product of the Phenix City School system. He excelled in football, basketball and baseball.
A Time to Embrace
Brandon began his Christian walk at the age of nine years old. He dedicated his life to his belief in Jesus Christ.
A Time to Build
Brandon worked at Ashley Furniture and later at Two Men and A Truck until his health began to decline.
A Time to Love
Brandon had an affinity for cooking and loved spending time with family. He had a passion for coaching his nephews, Chandler and Carter Pope. He was an outspoken and kind-hearted person; never meeting a stranger.
A Time to Die
Brandon departed this life on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willie Brooks; great grandparents, Henry and Ollie Stallings.
He leaves to cherish life’s memories: his loving mother, Angela Lane; his father, Steve (Yashica) Brooks; three brothers, Bryan Lane, Jay Magby and Tyrek Frazier; four sisters, Brittany (Martee) Pope, Martika Thomas, Nylah Brooks and Christianna Brooks; grandparents, Hettie Lane, Robert Lane and Georgia Mae Brooks and a host of other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
