Aric Demarco McKinney, the son of Calvin and Wanda, was born March 14, 1973 at Coosa Valley Medical Center, in Sylacauga, Alabama. He graduated from Coosa Central High School, Class of 1991. He also graduated from Southern Union Community College in Manufacturing Technology. Aric Demarco McKinney departed this life on July 10, 2024 in Anniston, Alabama.
Aric was known by many, and he was always ready to ride. He was always telling jokes and giving a helping hand to anyone in need. He was employed with New Flyer of America in Anniston Alabama. Aric was well known for his ability to do electrical works, fixing his family and friends' cars, completing carpenter work throughout the community, and assisting with the lawn service, and mechanical engineering with his photographic
memory. He was well appreciated on his job because of the exemplary work that he performed. He was well known in the drag racing World and gained his nickname "Swamp". He was also a superb chef and Grill Master for his family friends and the drag race.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ned and Katie McKinney and Gussie Pearl Leonard. He leaves to cherish his Memories: parents Calvin and Wanda McKinney, brother Kerry(Donna) McKinney of Radcliff, Kentucky, twin sister Arica (Edward) Wood of Odenville, Alabama and Alexis (James) Hines of Anniston Alabama. His son Dedrrick (Nikki) Beason of Auburn, Alabama, daughter: Starkerria Mckenzie of Anniston, Alabama. His nieces and nephews: Valencia, Ashley, Jaylina and Jayvon McKinney, Karen Marbury, Maya and Keaonta Hines. His uncle Alan McKinney and James Bonner. His Aunties Marcella Bonner and Alfreda Hale. His Great Aunt Lou Bertha Yates and six grandchildren. Special friend Malvin Duncan.
