Mrs. Annie Sue Seymore was born on March 4, 1948, to the late O.C Townsend and the late Vada Mae (Greathouse) Townsend She was the 7th of seven children. Annie attended East Highland High School and later moved to Birmingham where she was employed with Carraway Hospital and also worked for St. Vincent where she retired. Annie Sue confessed to Christ at an early age While living in Birmingham she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Upon retiring Sue moved back home and later joined New Beginning Ministry where she was a faithful member until her sickness. Annie Sue loved fellowshipping; she never met a stranger and was always on the go. Annie had such a sweet and loving personality, and she loved her family and friends. Annie Sue joined in holy matrimony to the late John Seymore. God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
On November 1st she closed her loving eyes and entered into eternal slumber. Annie Sue was preceded in death by her brothers Rev. John W. Townsend, Charles C. Townsend, and Emmitt Turner. Sisters Doris Ann Harris, Fannie Mae Gamble, Mary Frances Walker, and Glenda S. Norris. Annie Sue leaves to cherish her memories Sisters Jean Norris (Al) Johnson of Fort Mitchall AL, Claudette Riggins and a Sister-in-Law Betty Townsend both of Sylacauga, AL. Brothers Rev. George Townsend of Childersburg, AL, and Obie Norris of Sylacauga, AL. A host of special nieces and nephews as well as great grands and other relatives and friends.
