Mrs. Queen Starks was born March 18, 1940 to the late John and Ida Mae Mosley in Dallas County. The family later moved to Bessemer, AL. She attended Dunbar High School. She confess Christ at a early age. She joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Albert Starks. Most of her adult life was lived in Brooklyn New York, where she was employed in Building Service. After retirement they returned home to Bessemer. they joined Second Ave Beulah Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C.D. Patterson. She served as Asst Sunday School Teacher and a member of Circle #12 where she remain faithful until her health failed. She had a passion for home making and gradening. She transition from her earthly home surrounded by family Wednesday march 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane and Doris Mosley Two brothers Cornelius and John Jr. Mosley. She leave to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband of 61 years. Albert Starks three sons Richard(Paulette) Starks, Robert Starks, Roderick (Dawn) Starks of New York, Adopted son Andre. Sisters Inez and Patricia Mosley of Bessemer. Grandchildren: Kwame, DeShawn, Rick, Kimmy, Nylah. Great grandchildren: Jayden, Jalique, Ella. Mother in Law: Mrs. Willie Mae Starks Two brother in laws, Five sister in laws, Special friends: Roberta Ford and Mary Campbell and a special thank you to Journey Hospice
