Jessie L Stone

Mr. Jessie Lee Stone was born to the late Howard Stone & Gaither Hines on September 6, 1924 in Tallapoosa County Alabama.  At a early age he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior at Rising Star Baptist Church until his health failed him.  Jessie was a very happy man who enjoyed telling jokes, chewing bubble gum and playing dominoes.  You had to watch him because he was really quick and talked a whole bunch of junk, but it was all in fun.  Mr. Stone transitioned from this life on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at his home. His 1st wife Mrs. Mae Emma Stone preceded him in death and two of their sons Steve and Larry Stone and his 2nd wife Mrs. Othene Harkin and Johnny Daniels his step son, preceded him in death.  His loving memories are still celebrated by his sister Mary Power in Chicago, his daughter Glenda Stone of Hempstead NY, his son Clyde Stone (Diana) in Moody AL; his daughter-in-law Jean Stone; Pat, Gloria, James, Albert, Jerry and Kenneth and Mr. Stones step children, along with Nikisha Stone (Coon) and Tiki Thomas both in Atlanta, GA; Terrell Varner in Dallas, TX  and Jermaine Stone (Lil Larry) in Sylacauga AL, His grandchildren, nine Great grandchildren and one Great Great grandchild, Jearr Norris; a special niece as well as Becky Russell … When Beck walked into the room Mr. Stone face would just light up, and several other nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
