Mr. James Franklin “Cool” Carter was born on September 14, 1937. He was the son of the late John Henry Carter and Jessie Swain Carter and was one of six children born to this union.James affectionately known as “Cool” by his loved ones. He loved children and was Cedar Creek’s personal babysitter. Cool loved his collection of Hats & Lighters. He spent his days creating memories with family, with plenty of laughter and fun.
Romans 10:13 (KJV); For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. On Wednesday, August 22, 2018 James was saved by calling on the name of the Lord.
James F. Carter’s memories will be cherished by his family. A special nephew: Myric Carter, and loving and giving nieces: La-Shawn Carter Cook, Stephanie Carter and Chonice Carter. Two sisters: Betty C. Middleton of Harpersville, Al; Evelyne Carter of New York, NY. One brother: John H. Carter Jr. (Mary). Two Uncles: Oscar Swain and Glover Swain (Ann) of Childersburg, Al and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
