Darnell Clay

In life there are three main stages that we will go through. The first stage our (Birth); second stage is life (Living); and the third stage is our departure (Death). Now my departure is at hand, I, Darnell leave behind my love, legacy and the many memories that we shared. To everything there is a season and time to every purpose under the heaven. On 10/17/1951 in Kentucky, Alabama, in Jefferson County; Darnell Clay was born to Alberta Clay and Henry Fuller, Jr Darnell confessed his love for the Lord at an early age and later join Tabernacle Baptist Church. Darnell attend the New Castle School and he was employed at Jefferson State Community College. Darnell love music and watching old movies. Darnell met and married Joyce on MONTH DAY, YEAR. To this union  On Friday day, December 7, 2018 at approximately p.m. in the evening, God said “Darnell” your departure is at hand and your earthly journey has ended, you will now cross over into your eternal life.” Now, even though you will be truly missed by family and friends, they find comfort knowing to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He was preceded in death by, his father, Haywood Fuller, Jr., and grandparents, Burton and Mattie Clay.  We will keep the memories close to our hearts and cherish the legacy that you left behind: Loving Mother, Alberta Haywood, Birmingham, AL, One daughter Mia M. Clay, (LaDarrius) Lockette of Birmingham, AL, Three sisters, Acquinita, (Andre) Scott, Birmingham, AL, Phyllis, (Daniel) Carr, Trussville, AL, Angela Putman, Birmingham, AL, One brother, Alan Haywood., Birmingham, AL., Three grandchildren, Marcus N., Skylar M. and David I. Lockette, and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. one child was born.
