Alvin Maurice Grayson
Obituary
Our beloved, Alvin Maurice Grayson, passed away, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 5:35 pm. He was born August 13, 1936, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron and Martha Grayson. Mr. Grayson was married to his loving wife, the late Lila (Johnson) Grayson of Sylacauga, Alabama, for 61 years.
Our father faithfully served the Common Defense of our nation in the U.S. Army’s C Company 926th Engineer Battalion as a Combat Engineer in the post Korean Conflict Era. He served as teacher and coach for the Talladega Board of Education for 35 years.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving sons, Maury Grayson (Eilani) of Alabaster, AL, Alvin Ray (Shane) Grayson of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Patrick Grayson of Huntsville, AL; his five siblings and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Aaron and Martha Grayson Education Scholarship Fund (more information coming).
